March 23rd Rally: cancelled

Over 600 registered, and more than 800 were expected, for a very large Rally to End Gerrymandering in Harrisburg on March 23.

In light of coronavirus spread, the Fair Districts PA leadership team has regretfully decided to cancel the rally, shift to a virtual rally, but retain some of the Harrisburg legislative outreach and a very small, symbolic rally in the rotunda unless the capital shuts down or bans rallies completely.

Local groups will be planning their own small outdoor rallies at legislators’ district offices, county courthouses or locations that highlight gerrymandered districts. We will also be encouraging social media engagement, letters to the editor and calls and emails to legislators asking “Harrisburg, can you hear us?”

With creativity and determination, we will make our March 23 virtual rally even more visible, memorable and convincing than the planned rotunda rally.

If you don’t receive regular Fair Districts PA emails, make sure to join us and sign our petition while you do. We’ll be emailing details for further involvement soon.

Join us in saying, in every way we can: Pa voters want fair districts! Not red, not blue, just fair.
